I am a Managing Consultant on the broking and underwriting team at Eames Consulting in the UK, recruiting mid-to-senior professionals within insurance. My area of expertise lies within financial lines, political violence, terrorism, and M&A, working predominantly with insurers, syndicates, brokers and MGAs.
Throughout my career, I have built and continue to build an established network of brokers and underwriters within different classes of business to be able to supply my clients with the industry's top talent.
I take a truly consultative approach and thrive on creating long-standing relationships with my clients and candidates. By taking an honest, approachable and diligent viewpoint I'm able to advise and ensure that everyone is on the same page and make sure the right candidates are connected to the right role and business.
I enjoy working in a role where progression isn’t limited. I also find the market I recruit into fascinating with the ever-changing market and the impact political, environmental and social events have on the market.
Joining Eames in February 2020 as an associate consultant, I have progressed my career to principal consultant, achieving three promotions.

What is it about recruitment that has kept you in the industry?
Working in a meritocracy where your progression isn’t limited to tenure would be the main one. There are also lots of other factors though such as team/company and also recruiting into a market I find interesting definitely helps.
