Threat Hunter

We are working with a client of ours in the government sector to hire for an experienced Threat Hunter to be part of their Cyber Security department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute cyber threat hunting programs.
• Conduct threat hunting through hypothesis creation, data analysis, and reporting.
• Analyse system/network logs and forensic images to identify threats.
• Provide cybersecurity advice, including risk assessments and mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, track emerging threats, and participate in cybersecurity exercises.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Security or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of information security experience; threat hunting expertise preferred.
• Relevant GIAC certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCFR).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
