Job Summary:
The Associate Corporate Communications Director will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance the company's reputation, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives. This role involves managing internal and external communications, media relations, and brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and maintaining relationships with key media contacts.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure consistent and effective messaging across the organization.
- Create and manage content for various communication channels, including the company website, social media, newsletters, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing, HR, and other departments with their communication needs.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
- Handle crisis communication and provide guidance on sensitive issues.
- Ensure brand consistency in all communications and marketing materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, such as social media, content management systems, and analytics software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
