We are partnered with a global bank to identify a dynamic and experienced Head of Network Operations to oversee the management and optimization of its worldwide network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the global network infrastructure, encompassing LAN/WAN, data centers, connectivity, and overall network governance.
- Lead the network engineering team in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a secure, scalable, and resilient network architecture.
- Define and lead the global network operations strategy, ensuring alignment with the bank’s business objectives, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
- Drive long-term network transformation initiatives, including cloud integration, SD-WAN adoption, and network automation, to support the bank’s global operations.
- Manage key vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor network performance and security, proactively addressing potential issues while adhering to industry best practices.
- Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of network engineers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing global network infrastructure, preferably within a bank or financial services.
- Strong track record of leading and mentoring technical teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale LAN/WAN environments, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data center infrastructure.
- Experience in developing and executing strategies to optimize network performance, security, and scalability.
- Certifications (preferred): CCIE / CCNP / CISSP
- ITIL certification for IT service management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
