Global Head of Network Engineering

Our client who is a well-established financial institution is hiring a Global Head of Network Engineering who will lead the strategic direction, management, and optimization of the organization’s global network infrastructure and data center operations. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency, aligning with the company’s broader technology and business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive network strategy.
• Oversee global network infrastructure (LANs, WANs) and data center performance.
• Lead network architecture design and operational process improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure seamless network integration.
• Maintain high levels of network security and manage proactive incident resolution.
• Drive innovation and future-readiness by adopting new technologies.

 

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale network and data center management.
• Expertise in network protocols, security, and cloud computing.
• Strong leadership, project management, and cross-cultural experience.
• Preferred: Certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP), cloud infrastructure experience, and disaster recovery expertise.
