My client, one of the largest investment firm in Asia region is looking for high calibre IT business analyst to join its successful business to drive process improvement and automation initiatives. Responsibilities - Collaborate with various teams to understand workflows and identify inefficiencies.
- Map data flows across business functions and between systems to find integration and automation opportunities.
- Analyze systems and processes to recommend improvements.
- Document current and future state processes using business process modelling techniques.
- Define detailed requirements for system enhancements and automation initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity through transformation requirements and validation rules.
- Provide clear documentation and acceptance criteria to offshore development teams.
- Design efficient data models and integration patterns with technical teams.
- Review work from offshore teams to ensure alignment with specifications.
- Address cultural differences and communication barriers.
- Evaluate automation technologies to meet business needs.
- Design user interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for stakeholder validation.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to incorporate technical requirements into user-centred designs.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7-10 years in business analysis within asset management or financial services.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Financial data structures and data integration patterns.
- Software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Database concepts, data modelling, and SQL.
- Visualization tools like PowerBI/Tableau (preferred).
- Documenting complex business processes and technical requirements.
- Investment management workflows (deal origination, trading, portfolio accounting).
- Data flow mapping and system integration in financial applications.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer service orientation and relationship-building.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
