Underwriting Performance Management

My client is looking to hire an experienced Actuary to join their team in a non-traditional role. This is highly commercial and strategic in nature. This is a hybrid role of 3 days in the London office.

This role will be responsible for the strategy of underwriting activity. To succeed in this role you must build effective working relationships with underwriters and underwriting divisions across across a variety of different territories.

Responsibilities include conducting pricing reviews, reporting results to the Underwriting Committee, providing input on technical pricing strategy and supporting portfolio management activities to name a few.

For this role the hiring manager is keen to speak to those who are within the Lloyd's/London Market, and who have strong problem solving skills. Must have examples of building strong rapport with underwriters.
