We are partnered with a well established financial services organisation with strong prescence globally, to look for a Major Incident Manager, on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the resolution of major IT incidents, ensuring timely service restoration and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Analyze incident trends to proactively identify potential risks and mitigate recurring issues through problem management processes.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams, application owners, and IT vendors to ensure seamless incident resolution and long-term improvements.
  • Monitor service performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs) and recommend enhancements to optimize IT operations.
  • Develop and maintain incident reports, root cause analysis documentation, and service improvement plans.
  • Drive post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures to reduce future disruptions.
  • Work closely with IT teams to enhance reporting, monitoring, and management capabilities of IT applications and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in Incident Management, within an enterprise environment
  • Degree in IT or equivalent
  • Experience managing external service providers and working in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
