We are partnered with a well established financial services organisation with strong prescence globally, to look for a Major Incident Manager, on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the resolution of major IT incidents, ensuring timely service restoration and effective stakeholder communication.
- Analyze incident trends to proactively identify potential risks and mitigate recurring issues through problem management processes.
- Collaborate with service delivery teams, application owners, and IT vendors to ensure seamless incident resolution and long-term improvements.
- Monitor service performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs) and recommend enhancements to optimize IT operations.
- Develop and maintain incident reports, root cause analysis documentation, and service improvement plans.
- Drive post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures to reduce future disruptions.
- Work closely with IT teams to enhance reporting, monitoring, and management capabilities of IT applications and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Incident Management, within an enterprise environment
- Degree in IT or equivalent
- Experience managing external service providers and working in a multi-vendor environment.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
