Eames is currently working with a Lloyd's Syndicate on the appointment of an experienced wordings specialist. The role will shape our client's contract strategy, providing technical guidance and offering support across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement wordings strategy, working closely with underwriting, claims, and legal teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate policy wordings, endorsements, and delegated authority agreements.
• Provide expert advice on insurance contract issues, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Deliver training and mentorship on wordings best practices.
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments and emerging risks to maintain market-leading expertise.

Required Experience:

• Strong experience advising on insurance contracts and wordings, ideally within the London market.
• Deep understanding of Lloyd's market practices, subscription models, and policy frameworks.
• Ability to simplify complex wording issues and offer practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with binding authority agreements, market reform contracts, and underwriting systems.
