Our client, a Databricks Select Partner in an exciting growth phase, is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to add to their Databricks Consulting Services division. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in the Databricks ecosystem and technology sales.
Job Overview
As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of Databricks Implementation Services. You will leverage your expertise in the Databricks platform and your network within the tech industry to identify and close new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
Key Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in the Databricks ecosystem, with additional background in technology sales (AI or data-focused experience preferred)
- Current employment with a Databricks partner (Validated, Select, or Elite Status)
- Databricks Fundamentals certification
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with at least 85% achievement in 2024 and 2025
- Demonstrated ability to generate $2.5-$3.5 million in annual revenue, combining existing and net new business
- Experience in high-tech or TMT sectors is advantageous
- Full revenue accountability with an 80% hunter / 20% farmer sales approach
- Experience with Tier 1 partners such as Snowflake or AWS is a plus
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
- Provide accurate forecasts and regular updates on sales pipeline and activities
- Stay current with Databricks platform developments and industry trends
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members
