Are you an experienced Cyber Security professional with extensive Vulnerability Management experience? If so, you could be the VP, Vulnerability Management Lead our client is looking for to join their dynamic cyber security team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and maturing their vulnerability management program, ensuring the proactive identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities across their diverse technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive vulnerability management program, including policies, procedures, and standards.
- Vulnerability Scanning & Assessment: Oversee the execution of regular vulnerability scans using industry-leading tools and techniques. Analyse scan results, prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk, and generate actionable reports.
- Remediation Management: Coordinate with system owners and IT teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Track remediation progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and integrate threat intelligence into the vulnerability management program.
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program. Generate regular reports for management and stakeholders.
- Tool Management: Evaluate, select, and manage vulnerability scanning and management tools. Ensure tools are properly configured and maintained.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with various teams, including IT, security operations, and development, to ensure effective vulnerability management practices. Communicate vulnerability risks and remediation efforts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security policies, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, MAS TRM).
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the vulnerability management program to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience in Vulnerability Management across IT Infrastructure and Applications
- Strong hands on experience with Vulnerability Management tools
- Strong cloud and automation knowledge is preferred for this position
- Experience leading a team of Vulnerability Management professionals
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
