We're looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join an exceptional Catastrophe R&D team. This role will immerse you in a range of exciting research projects aimed at strengthening the internal "View of Risk." You'll dive deep into catastrophe models, analyse historical events, and use advanced statistical methods to enhance risk assessment strategies.

What we're looking for:

- Strong analytical background, ideally in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in coding (R, Python) and handling large datasets
- A passion for critical thinking and problem-solving
- 2-4 years of experience in the insurance market, with a focus on catastrophe risk
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Eagerness to stay on top of the latest advancements in catastrophe risk science

In this role, you'll:

- Support the creation of a robust "View of Risk"
- Work on real-time catastrophe event responses
- Develop and refine catastrophe models
- Present your findings to internal stakeholders and drive impactful changes
