Exposure Manager - Property

Are you a Senior Catastrophe/Exposure Management Analyst looking to move into a defined manager position?

Eames Consulting has partnered with a top performing syndicate as it looks to grow its Nat Cat Exposure Management function. This is an excellent opportunity to take 5+ years of experience in the London Market and lead a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Automate processes for reporting and roll-ups and make suggestions on how to boost efficiency.
• Partner with the R&D function to integrate the View of Risk in Underwriting processes.
• Lead regulatory reporting with the support of the Junior Exposure Management Analysts.
• Assist with outwards reinsurance strategy and portfolio management.
• Some exposure to Capital Modelling, partner with the Capital Modelling function to add Catastrophe Risk insights

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a Catastrophe Modelling or Exposure Management position.
• Strong Catastrophe Modelling experience, knowledge on how the models work, and ability to drive value from their results (Verisk preferred).
• Extensive outwards reinsurance experience and understanding of structures.
• Reporting experience.
• Strong technical skills, SQL required, Python/R and PowerBI desired.
• Strong communication/presentations skills.
