Infrastructure Project Manager

We are partnered with a leading financial institution in search of an Infrastructure Project Manager.

The Infrastructure project manager would serve as the primary IT infrastructure point of contact for Investment teams.

The role requires broad IT infrastructure knowledge but does not involve deep hands-on technical work. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the IT Infrastructure POC for the Investments team
• Identify the necessary infrastructure components (on-prem/cloud, databases, networking) to meet business needs.
• Communicate how the selected components will fulfill the requirements to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate component deployment across Infrastructure Technology teams.
• Estimate deployment timelines and ensure timely delivery.
• Create and maintain prioritized books of work for portfolio manager onboarding.
• Track and report deployment status against customer books of work, ensuring alignment with business expectations.

Key Requirements:

• At least 6 years of Project management experience in Financial Services or end-user environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to navigate requests and engage the right teams.
• Background in Unix/Linux administration
• Broad IT infrastructure expertise across databases, networking, and cloud.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
