Eames Consulting is currently partnering with a leading international insurer on the appointment of a Technology Governance Analyst. This role will be based in London and aids the Technology Governance Manager in driving robust IT compliance outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Governance Framework Design & Maintenance: Develop, implement, and continuously manage IT governance frameworks, including ISMS, BCMS, and PIMS.
  • Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as DORA, GDPR, and other relevant insurance-sector laws.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Assess, identify, and address IT risks related to information security, business continuity, and data privacy. Create and enforce risk reduction strategies.
  • IT Policy Development: Formulate and update IT policies, procedures, and standards to align with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Auditing & Compliance Reporting: Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with both internal and external standards. Prepare and present detailed governance, risk, and compliance reports to senior management.
  • Training & Education: Design and implement training programs to raise awareness and improve understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance across the organisation.
  • Incident Response Coordination: Lead the management of IT incidents, ensuring quick resolution and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment: Work with both internal and external teams-such as IT, legal, compliance, and business units-to ensure seamless execution and alignment of IT governance frameworks.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years working in technology audit, governance or compliance within insurance.
  • Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Lloyd's market is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a team.
