We're looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to join a leading team in a Cat Risk role. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in catastrophe modelling, accumulation monitoring, and portfolio analysis, working closely with underwriting teams to deliver critical insights and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and produce pre-bind modelling, ensuring underwriting teams have the necessary analytics and model outputs.
  • Assist with monthly roll-up production, explaining results and portfolio drivers to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support data quality management and contribute to detailed process guidelines for the team and outsourced partners.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams and deliver reporting and MI, as well as ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance Exposure Management workflows and reporting.
  • Contribute to model validation, upgrades, and ongoing team development initiatives.

Ideally you will have:

  • Familiarity with Exposure Management systems (Sequel Impact, RMS, etc.) and a strong command of Excel.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python, R) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in catastrophe modelling is desirable but not required as full training will be provided.
  • Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
  • PowerBI experience is beneficial.
