Head of Casualty & Motor Technical Underwriting

This role involves has a focus on expanding leadership, investment and leading a strategy for a large book of Casualty & Motor business (ranging from SME to Global Corporate Casualty clients). The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy, risk management, and data-driven decision-making. The requires oversight of a large book and the successful candidate should have a strong technical background, particularly in casualty, and be capable of managing a team of approximately 14 members. This position is not market-facing but requires excellent people skills to engage with actuarial, claims, and trading teams. The role includes setting the UK GI underwriting strategy and achieving ambitious growth targets.
