Application Performance Monitoring & Observability Lead

Are you an Infrastructure professional with strong experience in Enterprise Monitoring and Observability?

A leading financial institution is looking for an Infrastructure and Application Monitoring lead to join their team. As part of the IT Department, you will be responsible for:

· Overseeing and driving the expansion of programs for monitoring infrastructure to enhance the resiliency and availability of applications.

· Working closely with development and support teams to improve and change systems

· Working with a cross-functional team including Development and Support teams to understand complex application architectures such as Cloud and Kubernetes

· Contribute to strategy discussions for modernizing the monitoring environment and establish and track key performance indicators

· Stakeholder Management and establishment of best practices around application performance monitoring.

Requirements

· A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum 10 years of experience in Monitoring and Observability in financial institutions

· Technical expertise in Enterprise Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana

· Knowledge of Automation tools, scripting, Cloud Technologies and DevOps Concepts, Open systems and Networking Technologies

· Excellent Communication Skills in English
