Established Banking group is currently hiring for a Prudential Regulatory Projects & Control Manager to join their London team on a 12m Fixed Term Contract. This role will develop baselining documentation for the team and have the opportunity to be involved with a remediation project to enhance controls and processes across the regulatory reporting team and business finance teams covering BoE, COREP capital and liquidity returns submitted to the BOE and Prudential Regulation Authority for the Bank and the Consolidated Group.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Baselining documentation for all returns
- Developing attestation process for all data inputs used for reporting
- Identify areas for change by reviewing processes with the reporting team and compile list of enhancements for prioritisation and work with the reporting team to implement and test improvements to the reporting processes
- Work with Finance Assurance team to understand necessary control enhancements and remediate as required across the business finance teams and regulatory reporting team
- Ensure processes are well documented and meet the requirements of the end-user computing (EUC) standard
- Work with the Head of Regulatory Policy to understand and document impact of forthcoming Basel 3.1 rules
- Write business requirement documents for required changes to current processes
- Develop processes as required, ensuring they meet the requirements of the end-user computing (EUC) standard where applicable
- Update procedure documentation and assist with documentation of new interpretation and assumptions
- Liaise with business finance teams and IT teams to source additional data requirements
- Write basis of preparation documents for new or updated returns
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) on changes
Requirements:
- Extensive Prudential regulatory reporting experience and good knowledge of prudential regulations - Essential
- Proven experience and appetite for implementing change within a strong control environment - Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - Essential
- Experience of working on Basel 3.1 Projects - Highly desirable
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint Skills
- Alteryx experience - desirable
- Immediately Available or available within a 1 month notice period.
This is a high profile role across the bank with regular interaction with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk & Treasury so it is therefore essential that you hold excellent interpersonal skills.
