I am an Partner &amp; Associate Director on the actuarial team, specialising in recruiting mid-to-senior talent within the Lloyd&rsquo;s, London Market and personal lines space, including part-qualified roles up to head of departments.
I was attracted to the actuarial market in 2017 due to it being a niche and specialised market. This has allowed me to build out an established network and be able to understand my client&rsquo;s and candidate's needs, ask the right questions and deliver on both sides.
Not every candidate conversation has to be about being put forward for roles, I can add value by giving candidates the opportunity to know more about salaries, in-demand skills, and also current trends such as flexibility in working arrangements.

Reserving Actuary - 1 or 2 days in the office

A leading Lloyd's/London Market Insurer is looking to hire a recently qualified Actuary to join the reserving team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants a more flexible hybrid set up as the department do 1 or 2 days in the office.This role would be suitable for either in-house or consultancy reserving experience.You can expect to get involved in quarterly reserving activity for set lines of business and perform actual versus expected analyses. You will also be involved in analysing reserve estimates for large catastrophe events, and assist with the analysis of new business opportunities.
