Reserving Lead - Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary

A London Market Insurer is looking to hire a Reserving Actuary to join their London team on a hybrid basis. This role is an excellent option for someone who wants to get broad exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and who wants to get involved in global transformation projects.

In this role you will support key reserving activities for particular products. You will lead the team and you will be liaising with underwriting to support portfolio changes and initiatives. You will also be involved in capital model calibration process and other SII work.

This role requires individuals who are keen on management responsibilities and who have previously assisted with the development of junior members of staff. Individuals should have proficiency in ResQ, and any knowledge of R or SQL is advantageous. In-house reserving or consulting reserving experience.
