Management & Regulatory Accountant

Financial Services Brokerage is currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their London team. This is newly created role that reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with FS Finance experience looking for a role where they can have regular project exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Production of monthly management reports and commentary
• Supporting the preparation of the day-to-day accounting and month-end close process
• Balance sheet substantiation
• Preparation of regulatory returns - FCA, FINRA, NFA, AMF, DFSA and MAS
• Supporting ICARA and ICAAP processes
• Preparation of VAT/Tax computations across all entities
• Liaising with global auditors
• Liaising with auditors and regulators including responding to routine queries, audits, and investigations
• Year-end financial statement preparation

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Proven Financial Control experience from the Financial Services Industry
• Strong level of attention to detail
• Management Reporting and regulatory reporting experience - Preferred but not essential
• Exposure to a broking environment - Preferred but not essential
• Advanced excel skills
• Strong Stakeholder Management Skills
