I am an associate director at Eames Consulting, specialising in senior finance recruitment within the banking and financial services industry, partnering predominantly with investment banks, brokerages and SME financial services businesses.
Starting my career in 2007, I have established an extensive network that provides opportunities for my candidates and my clients.
Investing time in my network and building long-standing relationships is key. It’s not just about the transactional approach but always making myself available to take time to have a conversation with someone in my network about the market, even if they are not looking for a new role or have a vacancy.
To provide a truly consultative approach, I pride myself on keeping abreast of market trends and insights and be able to offer guidance around salary benchmarking.
As a manager, I provide the platform and the tools to be successful for my team., I enjoy working with like-minded, driven individuals who are good listeners, able to think on their feet and have an interest in recruiting within the financial services sector.
What does being an opportunity maker mean to you?
Placing a candidate in their next perfect role that would not have happened without my introduction to their future employer.
What Eames value resonates with you the most and why?
Ingrained Drive. It is well known that recruitment is an emotional rollercoaster of a job, and having the ingrained drive to be successful is what carries you through tough times. The hardest thing in any job is to come in every single day and give 100%. I believe the drive inside me to keep learning and earning more than the previous year is what keeps me in the industry.
